Finding Motivation

I remember my senior year of high school. After AP exams were over - Senioritis set in. A terrible lack of motivation. Of course, for me, taking a break could only be temporary, since I was still having to prepare for graduation, nationals in debate, and a strolling strings tour of Europe. And after all of that, I was working fulltime in a lab at WashU before Stanford started.

I guess for me, I really haven't had a time to be on a break. But now, it's senior year of college and I've found a job. GREs and applying to graduate school can wait now that I've decided to work at Google for the time being. Yesterday, I received word that my petition to stay on campus as an RA and finish my thesis Spring quarter has been approved, meaning I don't have to take any classes. It's going to be Camp Stanford for me.

So with anticipation of partying, enjoying my last quarter without classes, and spending quality time with friends, I've lost a whole lot of motivation to finish up the last two classes I need to take. I made a conscious choice tonight to skip class, something I rarely do, since I'm so sick of superficial discussions and classmates who say the most asinine things. Am I wrong to be so unmotivated? How do I get motivated, especially when more exciting and pressing things, like my senior thesis, Stanford basketball, Jenny, and photography are available?
